Apple’s $40 Million HBCU Scholarships Includes a 3-Months Summer Internship Program

Thurgood Marshall Scholarship widely known as Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) in partnership with Apple is pleased to launched the Apple HBCU Scholarships Program. Applications is ongoing and now open to outstanding students attending HBCUs with a minimum 3.0 GPA.


Eligibility for Apple HBCU Scholarships

To be eligible for this Apple HBCU Scholarships, applicants should be currently working towards a degree in an undergraduate, Masters, or Ph.D. program. Applicants who eventually make the cut will participate in a 3-months internship program during the summer of 2019, and will receive a grant of up to $25,000 in need-based funding that will immediately be applied to the academic year following their internship period.

Each an every applicants will have an Apple mentor throughout their experience as well as receive an opportunity to develop essential skills and help launch their careers through the hands-on experience gained at one of the biggest tech firm in the world.

As you might have guessed already, this program is as highly competitive as you can imagine owing to the great opportunities it present to students in a variety of fields. The selection process aims to assess critical soft skills that enable success in their program, coupled with the technical know-how ability. Only individuals with a good analytical abilities and the ability to learn new concepts, excellent verbal and written communication skills will be considered.

Applicants must be results-oriented, team players, and must possess sound judgment and critical thinking skills.

All successful applicants will receive up to $25,000, and the deadline is usually in OCTOBER.
